Checked October 31, 2026. Korea's Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) announced a stop-sale and recall of Real Mango Bar, a 50 g processed fruit-and-vegetable product, on October 30. The recall identifies packs displaying an expiry date of 2028/01/14. According to the original MFDS notice, another label beneath shows 2026/8/14, a date that had already passed.

Match the product, not just the fruit

Check all three identifying details together: the product name Real Mango Bar, the 50 g pack size and the displayed 2028/01/14 expiry date. The table in the official notice also formats that date as 2028.1.14. It lists a manufacturing date of 2025.1.15. The importer appears under its former name, Shinkwang, with its current name noted as Shinkwang Global. This is not a blanket recall of every mango snack or every expiry date.

What buyers should do

The MFDS asks consumers who bought an affected pack to stop eating it and return it to the place of purchase. You do not need to peel off a label merely to test a pack already showing the recalled date. If identification is uncertain, compare the actual product photographs on page 2 of the official PDF and contact the seller. The notice gives 1399 and Korea's "내손안" food-safety app as ways to report unlawful food-related conduct.
