People who have had trouble walking past parked e-scooters or e-bikes can review a Korean public survey on personal-mobility safety. The Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission announced a October 26–November 4, 2026 window on the People’s Idea Box portal. This is a consultation, not the start date of a new towing or traffic rule.
As of October 28, 2026. The individual survey page, exact closing time, authentication steps and successful submission were not verified.
What feedback is sought?
The announcement cites sidewalks, crossings, bus stops, subway entrances and tactile paving as places where abandoned devices can obstruct movement. It identifies children, older people, disabled pedestrians and stroller users as especially affected. It does not establish that every device at every cited location is the same legal violation.
Topics include unsafe or inconvenient walking experiences, locations of abandoned devices, suitable handling, prevention and management of travel through crowded pedestrian areas. Slow collection and insufficient parking space are also described as ongoing operational concerns. Previous measures were described as focusing on rider compliance such as unlicensed riding, missing protective gear and carrying too many people.
If participating, describe the place and device you actually encountered, then separate that observation from a suggested improvement. This is an editorial writing tip, not a quotation of survey questions or submission requirements. Avoid uploading unnecessary personal information about others.

On the linked People’s Idea Box home page, look for the survey card about how to manage e-scooters and e-bikes for pedestrian safety. The card was seen in the home-page list on October 27; its detailed page and login process were not checked. November 4 is the announced end date; the exact cutoff time is unknown. The commission says responses will inform future policy work. The handling method, any restricted zones and an implementation date remain separate future decisions.
