Korea’s Human Resources Development Service announced on October 1, 2026 that EPS-EDU now lets E-9 foreign workers staying in Korea register online instead of submitting an email application form. This is a change in sign-up method, not a claim that Korean-language lessons first began on that date.

From the first page to registration

  1. Open the EPS-EDU learning site at the address named in the agency’s notice. The public landing page displays a country choice.
  2. Select your country and follow that site’s online registration instructions. The announcement does not specify every field or identity-check screen; rely on the actual official interface rather than an invented step-by-step form.
  3. After joining, select the available lessons. The agency cautions that site access may be suspended if an E-9 visa cannot be verified. Do not enter someone else’s identity or claim a different visa status to obtain access.

The wider EPS-EDU programme also serves prospective workers waiting abroad in employment-permit countries, according to the annex. That does not make this particular online-signup announcement a blanket offer for everyone in Korea on any immigration status. It focuses on E-9 workers currently staying in Korea.

Lessons, cost and opening hours

Original editorial card distinguishing free online access from live staff support

The agency describes daily-life Korean, sector-specific language for manufacturing and construction, occupational safety, and labour-rights material. All official lessons are free of charge. PC and mobile learners can access the online service around the clock; that statement does not promise 24-hour human help or visa verification. Confirm the actual course catalogue in the country-specific account you can access.

If a lookalike page asks for a payment or someone asks you to forward a verification code, recheck the official address and keep your account details private. A shorter Korean Naver explanation is separate.
