A view of the aircraft is not one single T2 facility. Haneda Airport's observation-deck directory separately lists an outdoor fifth-floor deck, 6:30–22:00, and the indoor FLIGHT DECK TOKYO, 5:00–23:00, by Terminal 2. These are published schedules—not real-time proof either space is physically open.

Checked October 4, 2026 (KST). The directory and floor-guide routes below belong to the same airport operator and are not independent corroboration. The images are generic concepts, not depictions of T2 or a navigable map.

Choose the space before the time slot

  • Outdoor view: Find T2's fifth-floor Observation Deck entry. Its listed hours are 6:30–22:00, but weather or security closures may still intervene.
  • Indoor viewing: The separately named FLIGHT DECK TOKYO is linked to the fifth-floor Market Place, with listed hours of 5:00–23:00. Do not transfer these hours to the outdoor deck.
  • Arriving from another terminal: Check your actual route, current area and gate return first. Terminal 3's 24-hour deck listing is not a Terminal 2 operating promise.

The day-of-visit decision

Haneda warns that decks may close for bad weather or security reasons and directs visitors to Terminal Information at 03-5757-8111 to confirm the day's conditions. The reviewed directory and T2 fifth-floor guide do not establish indoor seating, precise individual access conditions, admission charges, or an after-security route for your itinerary. Ask staff and follow current signs; if you are departing, leave enough time for formalities and boarding.

Four-step check at the terminal

  1. Verify your flight terminal and current passenger area.
  2. Identify whether you mean the outdoor deck or indoor FLIGHT DECK TOKYO.
  3. Check that space's own posted hours and any day-of closure.
  4. Budget your return to check-in, screening or the boarding gate as applicable.
